Heya, another painting. Inspired by Battlefield 2142. I'm happy with the way this turned out, I was going for a more minimalist style, and it payed off. The was to just use the standard photoshop brush to come up with something simple, and I think I made it work. I used some textured brushes to dirty it up too.
Photoshop, 2 hours, no ref.

Though I prefer to comment when I see a nice piece.. with this one... I'm not sure what to say.
Like.. It's not bad... I personally think it's awesome.
I'm just not sure what to say about it. XD
But I can say instantly you have great shading and lighting, it really gives great contrast to the figure in the corner, makes him more noticeable even though he's hiding in shadows.
I really like it. The man's skin as white as the background really emphasizes the cold and despairty.
The sketchiness is good too.
If there was anything to be changed, I would add a fire near the man.
Either that or a person standing near the rubble on the right.
These would be whether or not there's combat (it's not entirely evident if it's in the aftermath, or if this is simply in the middle of combat).
